Colored Corn

Colored corn is superior to white and yellow corn in both flavor and nutritional value. It is also a food rich in antioxidants. The pigment of colored corn comes from anthocyanin – a type of plant-based antioxidant – and a group of naturally occurring water-soluble pigments in plants.

Anthocyanins are known to have anti-cancer effects, decrease inflammation, positively impact cognitive functions, diabetes and obesity, and improve lipid profile and cardiovascular health.

Blue Corn

Native to the America’s, the origins of our blue corn date back centuries to the Hopi, Zuni, and Mandan Native American tribes. Modern manufactured food produced from blue corn include tortilla chips, pancake and muffin mixes and blue corn flakes. We continue the tradition by supplying high-quality blue corn to the food manufacturing industry. Our blue corn is offered in conventional non-GMO and Certified Organic.
Our blue corn is specifically bred for the northern corn production regions of the Midwest. The region provides high rainfall with low pressure from insects and disease. The Red River Valley and surrounding states are home to one of the highest concentrations of certified organic acres in the United States. Many of our producers are pioneers in the organic crop production farming revolution, driving our organic corn production.

Purple Corn

Purple corn is another variant of  corn and is an ancient grain native to Peruvian food cultures. The purple corn health benefits are unmatched as purple corn contains four times the anthocyanins of blue corn.

Purple corn is the newest addition to our colored corn products.
